Hi my son wants to play golf with me, but the old set I have is over 25
years old according to the pro at riverbend and he also said that they
will be very hard to use and he was right so I am looking for a set of
womens perimeter wieghted clubs that would be usauble for my son he is
about 411 and really skinny but he is a good boy and has dreams of
becoming the next tiger woods. So if you have a set of clubs that are
taking up space or if you are buying a new set and want to get some
money for the old ones send me a note |
| Back to what I was saying earlier, one of these days, some very
athletic women are going to get involved in womens golf. If
anything, there is less athleticism in womens golf now than there
was 20, 40, 60 years ago. I mean, where is the 1990s equivalent of
Zaharius? ?!? The PGA Tour is now mostly the domain of
flatbellies, but about 1/3 of the players on the LPGA look like
Craig Stadler. (Too much like Craig Stadler!) But then again,
what would be the point in a muscular 510 woman playing on
the the LPGA? Shed have to hit 3 iron off every tee just like
Laura Davies. Shed be better off playing a sport where
athleticism is rewarded, like tennis, or volleyball, or
roller derby. (!) |

| Also, I dont think I can slam anyone, in this country, anymore about
not being forthright - not now, not anymore! Weve become so
politically conscious in this country that public figures cant admit
to having an opinion. Because as sure as you live and breath, if you
ever utter an opinion, someone or group(s) will be screaming for your
scalp. As did, the womens groups when it was reported that Mr. Wright
had admitted that he thought that ianism had hurt womens golf. By
the same token, had it been reported that he didnt think ianism
had hurt womens golf, the Radiacal Conservative Coalition for
Prevention of ersions in Sports, or some such group would have have
been screeming equally loud for his censure and replacement. When you
cant win or even breakeven, whats left but to lie and deny? |
